I found part of what I was looking for. Now I need the dates that Yee was at Fort Lewis. Look at this. He was first stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington, about 15 miles from Tacoma. He went to Germany in 1990 and served in the Persian Gulf War. He then was sent to the now-closed Fort Ord, near Monterey, California. He returned to Fort Lewis in 1993 and was honorably discharged in 1994 as a sergeant and moved to Tacoma. (from CNN)

Lee and the Sniper (Mohammed) both served in the Gulf War then. Wonder if they were in the same unit.

Have always speculated (gut feeling) that the Mohammed was connected to the anthrax mailings (as the mailer(s) only), didn't get paid and the sniper scenario was their revenge.

Sure is interesting.
