No it's not. On the basis of public policy, McClintock is the only Republican in the race and he is not an obstacle to his own candidacy. Certainly none of ArnieCruzaDoofus are Republicans.

Not only has McClintock set himself to be the spoiler for a very winnable Republican election, but he has made himself and the party a laughing stock.
He is running against a fellow republican and teaming up with the democrats.
He states that having the Democrats win would set himself up for a win in 2006, which is completely dillusional.
He spits in the face of every republican in the state of California, and President Bush himself. If the Republicans can take the governorship of California, it can very well give Bush the state in 2004.
But of course this is all about Tom. Never has this NOT been about Tom. I hold the man in complete contempt.
