Germany's FM Fischer gets divorced, again

BERLIN (AFP) - Germany's charismatic foreign minister, Joschka Fischer, has divorced for the fourth time, court officials in Berlin said.
At 55, Fischer is Germany's most popular politician and the figurehead of the Greens, the junior partner in the ruling centre-left coalition.
But his marriages have been less successful than his politics.
His divorce with Nicola Leske, a 34-year-old journalist, was confirmed by a court in Berlin earlier this month, a court official said.
The couple got to know each other in the former capital Bonn and married four years ago.
According to Bild, the foreign minister is now linked to a student who is reported to have moved in with him.
Fischer is not the only high-ranking German politician with a turbulent marital past -- his boss, Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, is on his fourth marriage, also to a journalist.
Here's the heartthrob (at today's memorial for Anna Lindh):
Well, you can't blame this guy: who want to live with a woman that old?
Despite his repeated failure to love a human being, I am sure he loves mankind. That's the psychological underpinning of the leftists: they love mankind as a substitute of love for real human beings.
In 2001, during the row about Fischer's terrorist past, including beating a policeman to the ground and of being linked to and accused by some of being the ring leader of a molotov cocktail attack that burned another policeman nearly to death, 82% of the Germans felt he should NOT resign.
This link, Fishy Fisher, provides a brief summary of Fischer's terrorist associations. Do a Google on "Joschka Fischer Molotov Cocktail" and this article is the first hit of a list that goes for more than 10 pages.
An interesting touch, referenced articles in major German newspapers, is that documents related to Fischer's past, and held by the government of Hesse (Frankfurt's state) were discovered to have gone missing in 1985. Fischer was the environment minister in Hesse at the time.
Interesting guy.

According to this "Die Welt" article:
"Die Welt"....Joschka Fischer auf neuen Liebespfaden in Berlin
The new girl is a 25 year old Film and TV Science student.
The article describes her as "half-Iranian", once divorced, with a 5 year-old child. The article says she has moved into Fischer's Berlin apartment.
Apparently "Bunte" and "Bild" published pictures Thursday and yesterday, upon which the girl threatened a lawsuit.
There is a restraining order against the two publications concerning the story, and apparently they are not allowed to write about Fischer and his new squeeze. The court order was established in July. (Shades of Gerhard and his problems with Doris or the hair dye story?)
"NGZ-Online"...."Bunte" darf nicht über Joschkas Begleiterin berichten
I couldn't find the pictures at "Bunte and "Bild", so I'm guessing they were pulled.
Fischer is not answering questions.
Fischer's first marriage, when he was 19, lasted 17 years, his second 13 years. The pictures of his 4th wife posted above do not do her justice, IMHO. The 34 YO Journalism major is beautiful. This is Nicola and Fischer from last November.

Here is an excerpt:
In 2001, the German government put on trial your old friend Hans-Joachim Klein, who had been an underground ``soldier'' in the Revolutionary Cells, an ally of the Red Army Faction and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
The Revolutionary Cells helped in the murder of the Israeli Olympic athletes in Munich in 1972, and Klein himself took part in a 1975 joint assassination operation with Carlos the Jackal in which three were killed.
During your testimony at Klein's trial, you were accused of having harbored Red Army Faction members in your Revolutionary Struggle house, the Frankfurt center for the group Revolutionary Struggle, which you co-founded with housemate Daniel ``Danny the Red'' Cohn-Bendit. You were forced to admit there was some truth in the accusation after it was revealed, as Berman reported, that Margrit Schiller, ``who had served jail time for her connections to the Red Army Faction,'' had in her memoirs ``plainly stated that she had spent a `few days' in the early 1970s living in the Revolutionary Struggle house.'' (After your testimony, you shook hands with your old terrorist-friend Klein. Sweet.)
In 1969, you attended the meeting of the Palestinian Liberation Organization in which the PLO resolved that its ultimate aim was the extinction of Israel--that is to say, the extinction or expulsion of the Jews of Israel. Seven years later, Revolutionary Cells terrorists led by your Frankfurt colleague, Wilfried Boese, hijacked an Air France plane to Entebbe. The hijackers intended to murder all the Jewish passengers on that flight, but were killed by Israeli commandos. ``Suddenly,'' Berman wrote, ``the implication of anti-Zionism struck home to (Fischer).
What did it mean that, back in Algiers in 1969, the PLO, with the young Fischer in attendance, had voted the Zionist entity into extinction? Now he knew what it meant.''
So, that's who you are, Mr. Fischer, the man we haven't convinced. You are the man for whom Munich wasn't enough, the man who needed Entebbe to convince him that Jew-murder was wrong. You ask to be excused. You have been excused.
And here is the link to the rest of the article:Mr. Fischer, who are you?
