I know we were bad, but the cable is out and I was going through "news withdrawal."

Had to go out anyway to check on my mom, who wasn't answering her phone (napping) and buy paper plates and plastic cups due to the water situation.

Had my cable not come on at 10am I would have done the same thing as you - I was in serious info withdrawl!!!!

But hubby had to go to work at 1, and the idea of my cooped up 5yo in the car with me was not an appealing thought.

I can tell they are still working on the lines - my power has flickered more in the past 20 minutes than it did all day yeaterday. I can see it now - I get through the storm with power and it goes out now that the wind has subsided. SHEESH!!!!!!!!
