I know it must be scary for you.I had my 90 yr old mother in a small hall covered in pillows one night when there was a thunder storm .

I heard a wind sound I'd never heard before.The next day trees in some areas of town had been broken like a match sticks.Some in our neighborhood pulled up by the roots.They said it wasn't a tornado but straight line winds.

Right now I'd just worry about your safety and worry about damage another day.
