Reyes said she wrote the news release, with help from another commissioner, because, "there's a link on the website that refers to this group as anti-gay and anti-immigration. When intolerance comes to the table, we need to answer that call."

The only instolerance in this case comes from the Left.

Free Republic is not anti-gay, just against the far-Left's gay agenda.

Free Republic is not anti-immigration, just anti-ILLEGAL immigration vis-a-vis border jumping.

Oh, don't kid yourself. There are quite a number of anti-gay people in these parts. If you read some of their posts, it isn't hard to see why some people take that as hate. Not hard at all.

Is there any doubt that a liberal president would use "hate legislation or Patriot Act II to declare FR and other websites hate groups or potential anti-government terrorist sites and order them shut down and all the posters on them investigated?
