Ten years from now Kobe Bryant will be running for Governor of Californian as a Republican.

His "youthful indiscretions" will be widely defended here on FreeRepublic over. We will be told that a vote for the lifelong Republican is a vote for O.J. Simpson.

Was it ever determined whether O.J. Simpson was (is) a registered CA Republican? I know he was friendly at one time with Jack French Kemp.

I personally am more concerned with his current advisors and positions.

What he did 26 ears ago does not bother me unless the bad behavior is still going on. I have done some things I am not proud of, but I am different now.

I want a no new taxes pledge, a pledge to enforce the border, a crack down on illegals and a promise to never sign any law supporting abortion or gay marriage and/or unions. A promise to lighten environmental regulations and to repeal surcharges and fees would be nice.

Isn't blind loyalty a joy to behold? You just have to believe, follow instructions and repeat the mantra, so and so can't win. I feel a ditty coming on, hmm, may it's just gas or as some would say, hot air:

He can't win, he can't win,
it's a constant spin,
let's be good little trolls, and,
just follow the polls,
that's what it's all about,
all we have to do is shout,
he can't win, he can't win,
yet, above all the din,
are those of us,
who won't ride their bus
refusing to buy their mantra,
they believe Arnold is Santa,
saying he will give CA back,
then hires political hacks,
ignoring the smoke and mirrors,
will help you see things clearer

I was labeled as 'prickly'. I was informed I hold impossible & extreme notions-now I see ANY principles or standards of any sort are just foolish. We have none left-any buffon may be governor & we have seen what was President for two terms.

Oh, well.

What's the bigger "indiscretion?" Killing babies before they are born? Violating US immigration law? A little 'forceful' sex? Or the Gray Davis type: lying like hell about the budget?

To these guys, "indiscretions" are irrelevant--across the board. All the same, no problem, don't worry--be happy.

And PAY THE TAXES.
