...on behalf of the ACLU. And THIS is the guy who has been flitting around the forum on behalf of McClintock trashing everyone in sight for not being conservative enough?
To: Poohbah
You guys are hilarious.

"Has Alan been talking up McClintock?"Yep, not only that but they had Geraldine Ferraro on their show the other night and both Alan and Geraldine were singing the praises of Tom. That combined with Katie Couric's and Matt Lauer's fawning on the Today show. Makes it very clear what the Democrats are up to.
It seems that Tom is being played as a useful tool for the DNC

Same guy! Doesn't add-up, does it, unless Ambrose is a democrat stirring the pot between Arnold and McNader supporters!?!

I haven't followed that case at all. Was the blog quote ambrose's own, or was it simply something that he pasted from someone else's online blog since it contained news of who the judges hearing the case would be?

Exactly! I started out receptive to Arnold, but his 'supporters' on FR are driving me towards McClintock. Instead of saying, "Here's the good things Arnold will do, and that may be as much as liberal CA will tolerate now", they say, "You fools! You idiots! Getting someone with an R next to his name in office is more important than anything he may or may not do! Stop being stupid! - Arnold has STAR power."
Then they wonder why some of us are not impressed.
Arnold is better than Buste - as is Davis, for that matter. But it would be nice if Arnold's supporters would stop trashing the very folks they supposedly want to have switch camps.
To: Poohbah
Isn't this the case where the ACLU is trying to stop the vote?

Thank you for providing the link to Ambrose's "disclosure."That wasn't my disclosure, it was the disclosure of Rick Hasen, whose election law blog I was quoting from.
You Arnold Groupies make me laugh.

"Around the time of grammar school, I had this incredible desire to be recognized. . . I got the feeling I was meant to be more than just an average guy running around, that I was chosen to do something special.
"At that point, I didn't think about money. I thought about the fame, about just being the greatest. I was dreaming about being some dictator of a country or some savior like Jesus . . ."
Anyone familiar with this Arnold quote? Apparently it is from a Rolling Stone interview back in 76.

According to these Arnold Groupies, I must also be Dan Weintraub of the Sacramento Bee, since I have also posted material from his blog.

I have searched the entire forum and I have not found anybody responding to your question.
It does seem that even with McClintock running, Arnold is still making up the difference. What is the big deal? Maybe McClintock presenting conservative ideas will help keep Arnie from forgetting what he ran on. Keeping conservative values in the news at least....
To: DoughtyOne
Isn't this the case where the ACLU is trying to stop the vote?Yes, it is.

I went to the linked site, and the person who posted the news is named Rick. Is ambrose's name Rick?
I got the impression ambrose was simply using the blogspot.com post for the information contained there, not that he necessarily wrote the blog post himself.

Again I ask. Do you reside in California?
To: All
To Arnold Supporters:
Considering Arnold's socialist agenda including Pro-Gay, Anti-Gun, against Prop 54, not supporting illegal driver's license referendum (not to mention Pro-Choice...), support for letting illegals stay here, won't take a "no new tax pledge", Buffett, Lowe, Reese, etc. etc., etc.,
Why exactly are we supposed to support this guy?
If I had posted this leaving out Arnold's name, would you guys presume I was talking about a liberal Democrat???
With McClintock in the race, it pulls your guy to the RIGHT, which is a good thing...

Providing a link is not enough. You didn't indicate that the statement was a quotation. You then got very evasive about whether you were the person in the quote.
Your denials ring hollow, Mr. Hasen.
