At least Schwarzenegger won't ban smoking in KaallyFornia.

McClintock could turn himself into a GOP hero overnight, then run against Boxer with Bush, Cheney, Powell, Guiliani and Arnold standing next to him at campaign events.

I'll believe it when I see it. Katie Couric and the Dixie Chicks will never allow their man to drop out ;^D

The only thing that worries me about this is that the source is NewsMax.com. I will wait and see. (I think I'll be waiting a long time).

He said the party's decision would likely be made during the state's Republican Party convention this weekend in Southern California. Will the riot police be on duty? I may forgo watching football this weekend, this convention might be more exciting.

And you can bet that the day after McClintock pulls out, the Democrat smear machine will unload whatever reserves of sleaze they have against Arnold. If it's devastating enough, that'll leave a whole lot of Republican leaders (and more than a few Freepers) with the makings of a huge omelet on their collective face.

I hate the way the media is trying to cram Arnie down our throats at all costs.

Are these polls for real?
Bustamante only gets
real voters. Arnold
will bring in millions
who never voted before.
Do polls reflect this?!

The reaction of some here when McClintock pulls out and perhaps endorses Arnold will be fascinating to watch. I suspect it will closely resemble what happens when a young boy I know does not get his way but his friends are playing with his video game....

The question is WHEN will he drop out..probably not until October

Best to keep McClintock in there until after the debate that Arnie participates in.
That way, they either have fewer questions or less time per question. I wouldn't trust Ahhnold with a lot, if I could fix it that he only had to deal with a little.
Besides you can obfuscate his positions with McClintock's and have him be gracious to Mac and win more of Mac's followers. (Or vice versa, of course.)
