All 3 are health hazards, I'd say that qualifies as a problem. It is possible to catch diseases just from breathing in the dust from feces.

Fortunately, all the kids appear to be healthy and well cared for. Then, what is the definition of squalor? I agree with you, that's why you have to read both the part I quoted, and then my reply. Because in my mind, I think these children were not being cared for. Squalor does not add to the health and safety of children. The drug paraphenalia worries me, too.
