Now do you remember the name of the restaurant where Jimmy Hoffa had his last lunch?
I do!

No, can't say as I do. I just remember we were at my Aunt's in Livonia watching the news, and my Dad and Uncle said simultaneously (sp)something like, 'They'll never see him again'.
It wasn't "Get 'Em & Go(to Hell)" was it? Or "Hot & Now(You're A Dead Man)"? Or "Dog & Suds(And Cement Boots)"?
Sorry...

It was the Machus Red Fox restaurant and if I'm not mistaken it was the woodward ave. location that Hoffa was last seen, a restaurant I frequented many times in the 70's. I really miss that place, not many restaurants nowadays require a coat to eat. If you were to show up without a coat and tie they would provide one for you. That was class. Something that is being forgotten in this day and age.

Machus Red Fox. We lived around the corner. I still make their signature salad. Loved it!
Anyone remember the name of the UofM football announcer who would go bonkers whenever Michigan scored?
Also..who else used to go see Bob Seeger for a quarter at local teen centers?
Also, saw the Beatles at Olympia Stadium in the 60's. Couldn't hear a word as everyone was screaming.
Thanks for the tour down memory lane.

It was the Machus Red Fox. It is now Andiamo's.
BTW, my mother was there at the same time as Hoffa that day. Freaky!
