"The Big Eight! "

They were a Canadian station out of Windsor.

Do you remember the "Tribute to the Americans" that one of thier newsanchors did? he did it towards the end of vietnam and it was really great, how he stood up for us......

I sure do remember the "Tribute to the Americans" and yeah CKLW was out of Canada wasn't it? lol But I always associated it with Motown – Dee-troit because of all homegrown sweet soul music they played.

It is still played once in a while. I have a copy of it and it was really good.

I haven't read all the messages because there were just too many, but if you haven't gotten a reply, the anchor was Byron MacGregor. He didn't write it himself -- it came from a speech made by a former premier whose name escapes me. You can actually download it from Kazaa. It's still both impressive and relevant.

Regards, Lenny
