In my experiences, in California, I fear the White, Gringo, Democrats from New York, more than I fear MEChA.

My experiences living in South Florida taught me the same. Broward elects Deutsch (from Queens) and Palm Beach Wexler (from Manhattan), as those counties are now de facto suburbs of New York and the most liberal in the state.

I know the story. Gray Davis is from Brooklyn, NY. Barbara Boxer, the same. State Senator, Dan Burton, (D), the majority leader of the CA Senate, is from Ohio. Throw the Mexicans into this mix, as a minority that these Democrats can manipulate like the New York "Machines" exploited the Irish, Italian and Jews, and well, that's why there is a recall in California.
