I just got through seeing the debate, Tom McClintock handled himself very well. I had to press the mute button while Arriana Huffington spoke. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard.

McClintock sounded great, which of course means he doesn't have a chance.

I know no one's posted on this thread about this yet but...
I just don't understand why so many people from all parties are against this recall! We are simply putting a check on the government's imbalance. Civil (and not so civil) popular uprisings are an integral part of who we are as a people (everyone remembers it wasn't all hugs and puppies when we left England, right?). Yes, it's a shame Gray's there in the first place, and yes, it's a little chaotic, but we've never done it before. . .anyway, sorry to write a book, just had to get it off my chest. (Btw, I've lived in California all my life).

Exactly right! It's about time we had a little tea party on the West Coast - throw the taxes in the Bay along with the politicians who "soak" us with them. :)

Bustamante: "Nothing I won't give illegal immigrants, nothing I'd do differently than Davis did."
I watched the very well-run debate and concluded California is bizarre.
Good luck!

Not to worry. The front runner has said he will debate in a proper forum.
To: mrsmith
Bizarre? That may be a bit of an understatement. ;-)

Does anyone know when the next polls are coming out? It's been like a week since the last one. That's a great question. I've been asking about that myself.
I saw some of the debate. It was excellent. ;-)

I beg to differ, Arnie-come-lately didn't have the guts to show up.
