I visited with Jordan and my sister Traci and her husband Tim last night and gave them all a big hug and as much encouragement as I could. Our family has been praying hard for them all and my husband even put in a good word with his beloved grandma who went to be with the Lord a year ago.
Today, when I go to the hospital, I will be sharing the prayers you have offered. I know they will be touched and grateful for the spiritual support of so many. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all.
(I will update this evening after surgery.)
And please do keep us updated.
The power of FReeper prayer is outstanding. We are blessed to have each other to lean on.
Continued prayers for Jordan. May our Lord buoy Jordan and his family with strength during this time of crisis. May He guide the hands of the surgeons. May He embrace you all with His love and compassion which knows no bounds.
We ask this in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
I was able to share the messages from all of you with his parents who want me to thank you and ask all to keep praying for there is still a ways to go before he is out of danger.
The heart valves were both repaired rather than replaced, which will eliminate the need for blood thinners and allow Jordan to live a more active, normal life without fear of causing bleeding.
As I said earlier, this is one very brave young man. We were allowed to see him in the ICU for a few minutes and he is trying so hard to wake up and talk, but cannot due to the breathing tube. He is responding by squeezing our hands and attempting to tell everyone the tube is hurting him. I could not be more proud of him than I am.
Again, I am just thankful and humbled by all the concern for Jordan and the family. Will update tomorrow.
Kayak, will you ping the list for me?
