I don't think he was really ever robbing the bank. He was getting media attention and into the news cycle for terrorism purposes.

Look for the next one to be forced to board a crowded bus like in Israel. The bank was just an announcement.

My latest tin foil scenario involves these "flash mobs" I've been reading about.

The mobs that get an email or page, then quickly assemble at a certain point, do something wacky and then break up and go about their business.

Everybody participating sees it as an "innocent, fun" type of thing.

But I think these kind of "mobs" could be maniuplated by terrorists to have a ready made target or as a distraction.
