Tim is on his case Speech on the senate floor What Bull s--&5s
To: Peach
I don't get MTP until 10:30 here...please tell Kerry's response! (Sounds like Tim's working hard this morning plowing the field for a Hillary! run)
To: Peach
TR is doing a fairly good job this morning of taking Kerry to task on MTP. Tim reading Kerry's statement on the Senate floor about why we went into Iraq--many of the same reasons Kerry was skewering GWB for just minutes earlier. Good job of throwing Kerry's own words back in his face.
[It will be interesting to see how Tim interviews "Mrs. Clinton, giggle, giggle" when she announces and does her obligatory MTP. Tim always seems to get giddy when interviewing her.]

I've tried twice to type Kerry's words in response to Tim showing that Kerry used the exact same words as the president regarding going to war in Iraq.
I have failed, Freepers. For the first time, I truly cannot figure out Kerry's position on Iraq.
Of course we all know it is to undermine the administration and president specifically, but in doing so Kerry is so unclear as to what he would do, I cannot figure it out.

Kerry can't even vocalize an opinion. He wants to sound sort of like Dean and always wanted to be against the war, but voted for it, so thinks the UN should be more involved.
A lot of rhetoric, little substance.

I hope that one of the talking heads will ask all Democrats to disavow Dean's statement yesterday that John Ashcroft was unpatriotic and a "descendent of Joseph McCarthy." (NY Times).

Does he remind you of another dim who could say 'I' every time he opened his mouth?

Holbrooke and de Villipan -- perfect together!
Holbrooke is such a perfect Clintonoid: "the policy with N. Korea worked for 6 years!" Just kick that can down the road. "There's no reason Bush can't negotiate this policy to get UN involvement in Iraq without surrendering command and control"... right, the French will be cheering us on.
At least FoxNews has Charles Krauthammer on the panel to insert some sanity following this inanity of Holbrooke.

MTP pulling out all stops to hold off that renegade Dean. One hour free commercial to the establishment candidate Kerry.

Being picky: I can't help but laugh at Kerry on MTP--watch his tongue. Frequently, he sticks it out. I've started watching it. It is more fun to watch his tongue than listen to his yada yada yada.

Tim could get a little more specific on this "budget deficit" topic. Kerry says he'll cut the deficit in half, but then when talking about all taxes he wants to increase he said they would "be a little more than the deficit". So, where's he gonna cut spending to get at that half-the-deficit?
Tim should have at least asked specifically what GDP growth figures he's using.

I just sat down in front of the T.V. and immediately saw that and had a hard time focusing on what was being said because he keeps sticking out his fork-ed tongue...
To: krunkygirl
Tim: Is Bush stupid?
Kerry: I disagree with him on just about everything.
C'MON TIM, MAKE HIM ANSWER THE QUESTION!

After an hour of Kerry on MTP, you still have no idea on where he stands on the issues, what he would do differently--besides turning more American sovereignty over to the UN, why he would be a better President, or what his vision for America is.
Long on rhethoric, short on substance, quick with tongue.
