I would say it is clearly time to get out of the Catholic church. Why should WE leave? We're not the ones doing wrong?! Believe me, most of those supporting this kind of behavior are getting old and gray and are dying out. We just have to work on putting folks in their place who can teach the new generation the RIGHT things. The Pope is working on that right now with the new crop of Bishops that are being appointed. It will take a while to clear out the Chanceries of the 60's leftovers, but I have Faith that it will get done.

By staying aren't you tolerating behavior that is wrong? This has gone on for years. And why didn't the Pope take a clear stand against this behavior, and the men doing it?
I am not a Catholic, and I don't mean to be hurtful to you that are. I wasn't aware that you had any power to work towards getting these perverts thrown out, or new men in. What has the Pope done so far to rid the church of this scourge? Maybe as a non-Catholic I only see the news, and miss something that only Catholics know? Please set me straight.
