Then you need to read more slowly, I set out several distinctions, and you ignored most.
And there aren't just two positions: supporting private ownership of guns, and supporting gun control. And I know you know that.
And Sch OPPOSES raising taxes. As you can read today, he has turned to the conservative, pro-tax-cut Hoover Institute for advisors, and for the coming audit.
It is disingenuous to ignore facts uncongenial to your pre-decided position, then call those who disagree with you "stupid."

A vote for
RINOLD is a move too far to the left to be considered pragmatic.
GOOOOOOO, McClintock!

http://appellatecases.courtinfo.ca.gov/search/dockets.cfm?dist=3&doc_id=44791 This link will take you to the Court of Appeal website, which reads:
The petition for writ of mandamus
is denied. We will assume, without deciding, that
Petitioner was authorized by Government Code
section 85401, subdivision (a), to file an
amended "statement of intention." Nevertheless,
the record is inadequate to provide Petitioner
with the requested relief. Among other things,
Petitioner has failed to present evidence that
he tried to file, or was in a position to file,
a signed and dated amended statement of intention
in a timely manner, i.e., on or before 08/29/03
at 5:00 p.m. At best, the record contains an
unsigned and undated amended statement of
intention, in violation of Government Code
section 85200. Blease, Acting P.J. (H K)

on or before 08/29/03 at 5:00 p.m. So let's wait and see.. the court apparently held (in dicta) that McClintock had until 5pm on Friday to file the amended form. Did he? This article does not say.

The fact is, I'm correct, and I don't think a vote for RINOLD would be pleasing to the Lord.

You're a mean-spirited RINO! Obviously, 25 years of experience in running for office was not enough for McClintock to know how to fill out the paperwork. Shame on you!

It is a 2 month election and in the first three weeks he raised a whopping total of $300,000. Why on earth would he think that he could raise over 6 million dollars? There are stretches of I-5 between LA and Fresno just COVERED with aluminum cans. You do the math.

This has to do with a First Amendment Right found in the US Bill of Rights. From what it says, it appears that the Democratic Party Secretary of State is skirting the issue and not giving proper accommadations to Tom McClintock's First Amendment Rights, guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. What are you talking about? What first ammendment rights? No one is abridging his freedom of speech. You seem to have fallen for the liberal belief that the first ammendment guarantees a right to be heard which it does not.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

I am not sure what your point is. Much of Arnold's recent positioning is an echo of positions he has taken in the past. McClintock doubled his support in the last week; that's not news? Gee last week you folks were saying that Arnold hadnt taken any positions. This week he did and that was NEWS. McClintock may have increased his support depending on what polls you compare but that has nothing to do with whether the press was lax in not reporting his positions when they already had. McClintock has been pushing the same stuff since before the recall was complete. Cant keep pushing the same stuff and expect it to be news.

Rush`s use of the term "feminazi" is over the top and serves no good purpose. Linking Arnold to "nazism" is also over the top. And that's from a BIGTIME pro-life advocate too. Arnold's support for abortion on demand, should be more then sufficient terminology, to get the point across to people.

>>>What are you talking about? What first ammendment rights? No one is abridging his freedom of speech. You seem to have fallen for the liberal belief that the first ammendment guarantees a right to be heard which it does not.I've fallen for nothing. Every individual candidate for public office, has an equal right to have their agenda printed in a recall election pamphlet, along with other candidates. No secretary of state, has the power to deny any candidate equal treatment under law. That is an infringement of a person's right to free speech, contained in the BoR`s.
To: tame
You clearly haven't even been following his positions. Judging falsely, lying and slandering isn't nice either, and doesn't please the Lord.
Looking at your postings, I really think you should refrain from comment until you have time to come up to speed, and deal with facts instead of cliche'd slanders.

Hi Tamsey - Just found this thread -
I really find it hard to believe that an experienced and serious candidate for Gov would screw up such a simple thing, and then screw up the attempt to fix it.
I suppose being in government for so long leads you to believe you don't have to read or understand anything before you sign it - after all, in most cases it's just taxpayer money you're playing with.

They WERE given equal treatment under the law - McClintock freely CHOSE to give up his spot in the election pamphlet in return for being allowed to raise more then 6 Mil.
Very much like Davis - He made a bad decision, then when it is revealed how badly he screwed up - blames it on someone else.
