Dear Freepers, a note from Ernest:
Thanks so much!
I have been lurking a bit, but had not felt like replying!
It will be awhile before I get very active . I have many pressing issues that had been putoff while caring for her!
FreeRepublic was very important in so many respects to handle the difficulties of her care!
Have been quite busy with many of the usual activities, working with my family, they have been a huge help.
Helped a grandson build a nice computer which he had been asking for.
All has helped me thru the loneliness of the past 10 days.
~~~
I am very appreciative of the comments , pictures, poems, etc.
I have only looked at a little of the thread and just find it a bit overwhelming .
My daughter has taken a look at the thread also and is getting ideas for the power point Memorial Eulogy , she and my son are putting together from a rich trove of photos and other material Kathy had built up over the years.
Not a ping list. Thank you, all.
Ernest, words can't express how glad I am that we've helped diminish your pain. Sending Isaiah 61:3 your way.
"When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today,..."
Who wrote this? Where's it from?
It's beautiful.
Thank you, RC. Sad bump
