That's great work but in my neck of the woods you don't need it to know that the Greeks are a tight bunch among themselves. They just are.

Greeks are not necessarily a "tight Bunch" at all - they
are quite individualistic and generally suspicious (that comes from 500 years of trying to survive under the ravages of islam) unless of course they perceive they are being threatened. Now that threat could be coming from anywhere but in this case - they are scumball heathens and that's the reason they are circling the wagons.
