Many of us went to bed last Wednesday night expecting George W. Greer to pull Terri's feeding tube as early as Friday. When this did NOT happen, we breathed a tremendous sigh of collective relief. Now many are hopeful about Monday's hearing -- we hope that he will allow Terri to be fed by hand to see if she can relearn to swallow. This of course should have been done a dozen years ago.
Still, I can't help but worry that Monday night we will all be grief-stricken again as Greer orders removal of the feeding tube for later in the week.
For some reason, this case can never make be optimistic, not about Terri's fight, the elites of Pinellas Co., or the state of health and dying in FL or the nation.
Greer is pre-committed: I can't see him reversing himself.
We need another miracle as we had on Thursday. Will the TV station again be covering the proceedings live?

I can also see George W. Greer saying on Monday afternoon or Tuesday that he had "no choice" but to pull the feeding tube because the higher court had "ordered" him to do so!

Still, I can't help but worry that Monday nightMy concern, too.
"Lighning struck" in Greer's court room last week.
The lawyers for the Schindlers really seemed inspired.
Will lightning strike again this week?
