The husband needs to be absolved from future financial responsibility for his wife. He should, then, relinquish his guardianship and the attached finances to Terri's parents. He wants to move on, let him.

But he wants the money. That's what most of this enthusiasm for euthansia is all about -- the money. The Democrats kept saying "Keep your eyes on the money, in Watergate. Many people pushing for euthanasia have a financial stake in the death of the intended one.
