jagoff is a northern term isn't it?
I first heard that term when my father (born and raised in Chicago) got cut off by another vehicle.

What're you doing putting cheese in grits?!? You're just supposed to put a slab of butter and a little salt in them :
We drove to Hot Springs once and stopped in a restaurant down south. I put sugar and cream on my grits. I thought it was a hot cereal like Malto meal. The waitress asked me if I was from up North.

Thought it was Nehi grape soda and a moon pie?
I've only seen moon pies in the vending machine at work, and then only once in a while.

How 'bout "carry", as in, "My son is commin over to carry me to town".
Or "built" instead of "made" ,as in: "I built me some new kitchen curtains over the weekend."

You are from Floribama, are you? I have a friend from L.A.-Lower Alabama (actually he's from the panhandle of Florida) and he's got one of the strongest accents you'll here.
To: Taffini
You're "Yankee" was showing!
In my opinion they are best with butter, salt and black pepper. If you're lucky, and your Mamma cooked ham that morning, she would have fixed red eye gravy to go over the grits. Now that is some fine eatin.

Grounds for divorce?Fortunately, it was not. They've been married over 30 years. Of course, it didn't hurt that she looked like a centerfold.
To: brianl703
I like moon pies and I like RC cola but not together.
We would always drink an RC with toms peanuts. Some would put the peanuts in the drink. I would too sometimes.

Real southerners know that LA doesn't always mean Los Angeles, it can also mean Lower Alabama which is located in the Florida panhandle.
