Do you think McClintock will bail out and throw his support to Arnold?

Who knows. Republicans have a great history in California of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. So stupid...

McClintock is responsible for the very real possibility that Bustamante will be governor. Does he care? No!!!

Arrogance of the self-righteous will prevent McClintock from leaving the race. He's "bolstered" now that he is in double-digit numbers. Wow!
Unlike the Democrats who tell people who can't lose to get off the stage, Republicans will do nothing and McClintock will try to steal the spotlight until the end (instead of supporting Arnold and trying to influence Arnoldn's policies). Republicans may not believe in abortion, but California Republicans are expert at eating their young (and doing their own cause in in the process). Literally, they would rather be "right" than "elected".
