Rohrbacher has never been one of the deep think guys; he's in an elected position; he's apt to be doing this because he thinks it's good for dana r.
In his YAF days, was he not one of the self-named anarcho-libertarians at the '69 YAF convention? Yes, fortunately he's changed he attitude vis-a-vis the conservative movement. But his philosophical judgment of issues and personalities demonstrably has to be taken with a grain of salt.
