If the Swartzenager republicans made a gutsy move and switched their support to the real republican, McClintock he might actually have a chance. With all due respect, you are a freeper from NJ.
Being from California I know my state pretty well. At this point in time, any Republican who hopes to win in CA. must pull in Independents and some Democrats. I know MANY Democrats who are sick to death of Davis - he really is despised by Democrats. But these folks won't vote for McClintock, I guarantee it. They could very well vote for Arnold however.
Some Republicans seem to prefer a pyrrhic victory. It's a boneheaded approach.

With all due respect, you are a freeper from NJ. With all due respect to you, New Jersey is still suffering the ill effects former former Governor Whitman (RINO) had on the state. Not to mention the backstabbing rinos we have in the statehouse. They are in office in the republican name only. Don't we really elect these people so they will represent our ideals and further our agenda?

McClintock needs to run on a message of tolerance for Conservatives. THe state needs a real lecture on how having an "anybody but a conservative" has already hurt the State. It's what caused Davis to be elected.
Now is the window of opportunity to get this message out!
This will help with the two bigger prizes, the Senate seats of Boxhead and Frakenstein.
