Fullerton College , Orange County Calif -
Gerald is taking a political science and sociology class at Fullerton College . He also works at the PC cafe at which this leter is being tyed right now .
Gerald favors Republicans in the Calif . recall election , and revealed something to me that his Fullerto College Sociology recently told him .
Gerald told this story to me personally, and I asked him a minute ago to tell me the date she told the class the following account of how she discovered the truth on how this fraud poll was taken . Lol.
His Sociology teacher deals with a lot of statistics and told the class on Tuesday 8/19/03 the following true account of Bustamante lead over Arnold Schwarzeneggar :
She told the class she called channel 2 news and found out the poll was taken in San Fransisco ( that's LIBERAL San Fransisco ) from 278 people questioned ! lol.
That's the true Poll !
Sincerely , Cousinkoala Sat. 8/23/03

With all the hub-bub about who the next governor is going to be, wouldn't it be funny if the voters ended up not recalling Davis in the first place? I'd laugh my a$$ off at that. But, I also live in Texas, so I laugh at most things Californians do.

No one wants the Dems out in Sacramento more than I do but please be real. If any of this account is true the real story is the jughead professor at FCC. This comment was made on 8-19? That was before the poll was completed. I'll lay odds he didn't even know the poll was being conducted.
Please don't make conservatives look bad just because we don't like the results of a poll. If you read the methodology of the LA Times poll you will learn a little about the process of conducting a survey.

But, I also live in Texas, so I laugh at most things Californians do.And the rest of the country laughs at how your state's legislature can no longer function because 1/3 of its members fled the state.

Ah, yes. True, the Brave Sir Robin's of the Texas Senate (aka the Democrats) are currently in New Mexico. However, sooner or later they'll have to deal with the redistricting issue - but California will always be California. :)

Even when I was taking an extra heavy load and wanted a snap course to add on the credits, did not deign to take sociology.
The Democrats want the Big Mo, and so will boost Boostamonte any way they can.
Lying is just SOP.
But even with Simon given an offer he could not refuse, I do not believe this is a shoo-in for Arnold.

Nope. Arnold will have to earn conservative support. Dickie Pooh's mistake was to take us for granted and then stiff us ahead of time, which was why he crashed and burned in the Republican primary last year. There's a lesson here for the presumed front-runner.

If we combine Arnold with Pete's vote we get 27%; combine Bustamante with Huffington's vote and Camejo's we get 27% and if we combine Tom and Bill's vote we get 13%. The two front runners are in a dead heat and the conservative in the race has half that total. Keep in mind over the half the voters are still undecided about a candidate so any one of the three could make it.

This is the year of upsets. No Tiger Woods in majors, no Lakers, no Red Wings, no Yankees, no Raiders. Could Sen. McClintock be the biggest upset of all?

The only way polls make headlines is when they change so the pollsters cook them.
