Yes it does. It affects SO many areas that people can't understand that anyone who rapes little kids is a monster. Instead, they have to morally equivocate instead of bioling the crime down to the fact that it is: a crime against humanity that RUINS untold numbers of lives all te time.

I guess it's easier to try to turn it into a political agenda question.

With all due respect, there is something not quite right with your statement. I think it was the Consevatives in the church involved in the decades-long coverup of priestly pederasty.

It was the Liberals who brought sexuality "out of the closet", which resulted in this commonplace practice of child abuse in the Catholic Church being exposed. Until the Liberal press revealed these crimes against children, people refused to believe it was happening.

Here I am defending the Liberal press! I can't believe it!
