Here it is. The uncut version. The only ammo anyone needs to set the naysayers in the press, pol critics and armchair 'generals' straight.
the resolve of our soldiers is great. And what the enemy doesn't understand is, the more they attack us, the more fight we'll take to them.
If you want on or off my pro-Coalition/anti-wanker ping list, just ping.

...-- you know, soldiers here in and around, say, the Baghdad area are in hardstand shelters -- you know, former state-owned properties that were left vacant, abandoned. And a lot of them refer to them as -- "marble tents."HOOAH!

http://www.MarineTimes.com ..
...Marine Corps Times Newspaper Reporter CHRISTIAN LOWE just guested on C-SPAN's 'Washington Journal' after returning from a month in Iraq with our Troops and the now Free Locals.
...What a fascinating Report of CLARITY.
...CHRISTIAN LOWE reports that the Morale of our Troops is high in Iraq because most now in-country came late to Iraq and are now fighting THEIR War. Those that are disgruntled are in units like the 3/7th U.S. Cavalry who spearheaded our bringing Freedom to Iraq in March with fierce firefights and since have had their time of returning home pushed back on them 3 Times. Understandable.
...Our in-country troops take our daily individual Troop deaths from terrorist attacks as simply being part of their job and is not draining their Morale. CHRISTIAN LOWE would like to see how high these Troops' morale is as they get to the 9-10 Months part of their 1 year deployments in Iraq. Some imbedded reporters are getting ready to return to Iraq to bring us updates on the units they entered Iraq with in March.
...Reservists who are called up for Active Duty are under a Federally Mandated 2 year Cap for Active Duty.
...The focus of the Iraqi People is strictly local and they are not looking to Bagdhad for anything..!! Their concerns are on setting up a local government, Mayor, a police force and electric power. Electric Power should all be fully restored in-country in September.
...Former Members of the old disbanded Iraqii Army are being paid $50 a month, which is big money in Iraq. Some are using this money to start businesses and farms.
...Members of the new Iraqii Army are being trained to guard Oil Piplines against future sabotage, in a country that has the world's 2nd largest oil reserves, and provide security for Power Plants.
...There was no Military Censoreship of CHRISTIAN LOWE's Marine Corps Times Reports from Iraq nor is there ever.
...This was one Hell of a TV hour, Fellow Freepers, with CHRISTIAN LOWE being the 2nd Guest on today's 'Washington Journal' which should be re-aired at least once later today, with the 1st re-airing cycle airing now on C-SPAN.

Worse, a civilian and a reporter trying to cover a military news story, trying to hide the fact that he absolutely abhors the military, while asking stupid-a** questions deliberately designed to embarrass those in uniform or the Commander-In-Chief.

Bump!
To: ALOHA RONNIE
from the lead article:
The heat over here on average in just the last couple days has been 123, 124 degrees.
And even in their full uniform, out on the ground, the engaged with the populace
everyday, their spirits are high and they're doing a great job.
When these soldiers return to civilian life and look for jobs, the resume' sentence
"Served in Iraqi countryside/city during Operation Iraqi Freedom" should at least
tell the employer that the job applicant can take the heat.

I have just one comment. That is: I would pass on to leaders that are preparing to deploy their organizations over here, and that is to empower the young sergeants and the young lieutenants. They're the ones that are really the ones that are making the fight every day, the ones that are on the ground making the decisions on how to react to what the enemy is throwing at them. So I think we've got to focus on the small unit operations and the small unit leaders to empower these young soldiers.Excellent advice, I sure hope it's being followed.

"the resolve of our soldiers is great. And what the enemy doesn't understand is, the more they attack us, the more fight we'll take to them."
That was my favorite, too. Sounds like the equivalent of...'bring 'em on'.
To: Ragtime Cowgirl
The Iraqis are picking up a lot from us. I think we're picking up stuff from them. And I think it's a great joint effort in trying to keep things under control here. But...but...but..."they" told me it's a quagmire over there!
Great ammo, RC!! I know just what to do with it. :-) THANKS!
