I know, Lady. Check my homepage. I update it daily.

Our press is lost in moral relativistic space. Journalism schools really failed them...as did their Vietnam-war mis-educated peers and mentors.

I've found that the military leaders are trustworthy. Listening to the news, even FoxNews, is head-bangingly frustrating if you expect them to change their style. They have a few reporters posted at the Palestine Hotel (where the bad guys know where to find them), and at the hot spots - ready to report all negative. They seem to ignore CENTCOM, the primary news source - in contact with the 150,000 or so troops stationed across a nation the size of California. Oh, and the media military 'experts' follow the NY Times/press war coverage instead of listening to the DoD and the troops, too. Letters from the troops have validated CENTCOM and the DoD and nailed the press from day one of the post-embed war.

Always check the briefings. Wednesday's briefing was so positive. WE ARE WINNING was the theme. Whenever the news is GOOD, the press goes out of it's way to find and hype the negative. They really are shameful. The reason terrorism is now the #1 problem is because our troops have been so successful at removing the problems #1-20000+...that ranked before terrorism over the previous weeks in Iraq.

The press just doesn't listen to the experts - to those voluntarily risking their life DOING great work daily in Iraq.

Our soft-spoken but passionate friend was behind our military completely and ready to serve in any way to restore peace, freedom and dignity to the people of Iraq, and especially to the indigenous Assyrians who have been so persecuted.

Thank you for the beautiful tribute to your friend, AA. The Iraqi-born volunteers and Iraqi citizens who are helping our troops are incredibly brave. They know the history of Saddam's regime. They know the enemy.

I am so sorry for your personal loss. Those who paid the greatest price for the freedom of the Iraqi people will not be forgotten.

Prayers going out for the friends and family of Nadan.

Our straight-talking military men and women our awesome. Here's the long version of this briefing. How could the press who are supposed to be covering this war, miss THE briefing from THE experts? Have you heard any press reports from this briefing or just more dishonest quagmire peddling? This is beyond bad reporting. It's anti-Coalition propaganda.

We ask them to save civilization. They volunteer. They shouldn't have to fight the press as well.

What a beautifully-expressed thought. Thanks for the ping to another uplifting report. Am thinking of doing another piece in this regard. Will keep you posted.

Nadan Yonadam was my uncle. There are no words to describe the loss that both our family and the Assyrian community are experiencing right now. His sons and I were raised as brothers and sisters. He was truly in Iraq to get one step closer to realizing his dream of the re-establishment of an Assyrian state in Iraq. His one wish was that if anything should happen to him while he was there, that he should be burried in Dohuk Iraq. Unfortunately, the government has shipped his body to Delaware and his wife and sons are waiting to see if they will ship it back to Iraq.
