The Lord God Almighty is patient, loving, and forgiving. He is not tolerant for there is right and wrong and He is the judge. He gave us the 10 commandments to let us know right from wrong on the the most fundamental level. I would not want to be one these people soon to be facing His wrath or anger based upon His will against those that appose it. Though we all have free will to decide our way in life it reamins ultimately God's will that is done to mankind as a whole and when the affairs of man stray from God's perfect will becuase of sin and evil, He takes direct action.
Heaven knows Judge Moore and that is what matters most and at a time when sinful and prideful men turned from God and His law you stood to becounted on the side of righteousness. The trivial nature of the leftwing and liberal judges and lawyers will have much to answer for and I shudder to think of how they will someday have to answer to God directly.

It may indeed be political. I'm just asking the question. (Actually, I intended to type "Is there ever a line which simply must
not be crossed," but I typo'd.
I just wonder if we will just accept rule by judicial fiat as Canada has.

I do not agree with the decision to remove the monument, but the court issued an order, it was not stayed , and Judge Moore refused to obey it. Applause. You get it - pity that those calling for revolution in this thread over a hunk of rock don't.

Bush has criticized stuff like this before. Hopefully, he will speak up.

And let every fist-raising Marxist from Streisand to Sarandon shout, "SEE? THOSE CHRISTIANS ARE NUTS!!!" No way. Don't give the pr*cks the satisfaction.

Up your meds, young man.Moore has played you like a violin.

If that result was so obvious under the Supremacy Clause, what do you think Martin v. Hunter's Lessee, 14 U.S. 304 (1816) and Cohens v. Virginia, 19 U.S. 264 (1821) were about? They came out the way you want, because centralizing federalists like Marshall and Story dominated the Supreme Court. But a Jeffersonian Supreme Court would probably have ruled very differently.
To: rwfromkansas
Whoa. I wouldn't go that far now.
I do like the idea of printing up Ten Commandment stickers, and placing them everywhere (within the law). Make 'em sorry they ever raised the issue, y'know?

Pity that you don't care what the First Amendment really means and the judicial tyranny that has really ruled this country for 50 years.

Good to see you ma'am. I of course agree and knew when I saw your name on my "comments" ledger that I would be pleased.
Regards.

I don't care what his motive is, he stood up for the Constitution.
If liking a man who has balls is being played, I am guilty.

Exactly. Even those who called this "civil disobedience" have to understand that if you defy a court order to make a point, you have to be willing to live with the consequences. For a lawyer and judge, the consequences include state disciplinary action. If they don't do it in this case, what about the next time a judge decides he can hold a court order in contempt, whether the subject matter is "righteous" or not.

Pryor did the right thing here, upholding the law.
Pryor rolled over; it's that simple. Personally, I now hope the jellyfish is never confirmed.

It's more a statement of anger than actual feelings. I would rather live my life, not go to jail for arson. :)

Bush has criticized stuff like this before. Hopefully, he will speak up. He will not. Bush is smart to stay away from Moore altogether.

There is a connection between those persecuting Moore and Pryor as well and I gave you the proof.
They are your allies. That is unfortunate.
I do agree with you on one thing...lol
