Anyone involved with child pornography should receive the max. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if the ACLU came to his defense. ACLU has shown a fondness for pedophiles, as Bill O'Reilly has pointed out.

Perhaps Thompson's most publicized ruling came in 1998, when he sentenced former World Boxing Association heavyweight champion Bruce Seldon to five years probation, plus 364 days in jail, for taking sexually provocative photos and smoking marijuana with a 15-year-old girl. In handing down the sentence, Thompson cited the boxer's status, and said he "shouldn't be punished more because he is a celebrity, but he is a role model, and people look up to him."

If there was justice going on here, anyone who did what this judge allegedly did should get the max - i.e. death sentence. And none of this waiting 15 years at 20 grand a year during the endless appeals. Swift death punishment, and if hanging became the method again, it would be a lot cheaper.
