I caught some of Keyes' speeches during the '96 campaign: passionate, articulate, intelligent, knows the issues cold and has a sense of humor. He got connected with the wrong network, so they canceled his program. Fox's Roger Ailes probably would not want to take a chance, but he should.

Wow - Alan Keyes is SO fabulous. His vocabulary is ...well I don't have a vocabulary word that would do it justice! --and there you are! His arguments always right on target, and he presents himself with such confidence of will.

I told my brother (as we were watching H&C tonight) that I would hate to be his wife and have an argument with him. You'd have to simply throw your arms in the air and say...whatever and give up--he'd have you every time! ---OR--- Could you imagine having him on your Debate Club at school??? You'd ALWAYS win. Words are "Artwork" to him!

President, heck. How about Supreme Court Justice? The Demos (and the Rino Repubs too!)would never allow it, but wouldn't it be wonderful to see someone on the bench who really understood the Constitution?

Hehe. God truly blessed Keyes with knowledge and an ability to communicate that knowledge effectively. He's an asset to the GOP.

IMHO - here's what I think is the ONLY thing that pulls Alan Keyes down with the public.

He taps into an anger level that most Americans simply cannot deal with. He's SO passionate, that he comes off too angry, rather than passionately involved. All the little (and there are thousands of them) sheep who can't deal with conflict to save their lives...and the rest of us, who need a bit of a break at the end of the day, hear Alan rant, and say...I agree, but I just can't deal with that intensity level right now.

Any of you all agree?

Robert, you should recognise your betters when you see them and give them their due. When it comes to the Constitution and the ability to articulate Constitutional matters, you and Alan occupy different sections of the Universe.

alan is an idiot.. however he is OUR idiot... and he actually speaks to many moral conservatives as well as fiscal ones...
for that he deserves occasional kudos... and frequent ribbing...

the man has an irrepresible mouth... and incredible teeth.
It is clear he believes every word he says. That can be refreshing at times. just not all the time for some of us.
