The New Republic for a while, did papers too......did lots of "revealing" liberal journalism, insightful deconstruction with lots of juicy tidbits.....most of which were just whoppers and half-truths mixed up as a kind of liberal "hamburger helper". Finally got nailed by someone who was all concerned about one of his articles and started in-depth fact-checking him, and went to his editor when they encountered a problem. His editor busted him and fired him. That was about five years ago.
Real charmer.
