I can understand no word from the other channels, but there's been nothing recently on FOX. There's even very little said about it all on the local TV news or in the newspapers. I wonder if it's getting more coverage in the Austin local press? It sure isn't getting much in Houston.

I loved this statement: "we have been forced" - WHO "forced" them to do this ..?? They left the chamber of their own FREE WILL - no one FORCED them do to anything.

Senator Ellis is violating his oath of office. It's that plain and simple.
Can voters trust the word of a man who will publicly and unrepentantly violate his oath of office?
To: MeeknMing
Their seats should be declared vacant, appointments made to fill them ( with people ready to swear in instantly ) & let them howl.

Move On has ties to the communists. Oh, Goody! Which ones? The ones that Bob Buzzanco likes to hang out with at U of H, or the ones in that cretinous little Marxist-Leninist perfesser's classes down at College of the Mainland ? (You remember him -- the one whose tenure bid was Freeped, but got installed by the president of the college anyway.)

I wish we could enlist Dog to bring them back one by one.

We need to add 'exile' to the list of Dem-definitions, you know, with 'is'.

I heartily agree, declare their seats vacant and abandoned, and replace them.
If you had an employee who walked out, you'd fire him, and replace him. Same needs to be done here.

Good poster, but shouldn't Molly Beth Malcolm be on there somewhere......as the Madam, maybe? Don't have enough room for so many. :-) (BTW: That's Sam Houston and Jane Long, the Mother of Texas, at the top)

So what do the pretty gov & the too clever Lt. Gov wait for??? A team of assasins?? A sign from God??
MAybe we should run a blind classified personal in the Austin_American Statesman-"Rick, fire them. Let what's his face the Lt. deliver the pink slip. Call us for his plane ticket to Albeturque. Tell no one."

How much more LEFT can one get. Also, my understanding is that the IDT telephone company hosts the Communist Party web site. Geez

I hope they stay in New Mexico until all their perks are cancelled and Texans have forgotten who the are until the crawl back with their tails between their legs wanting their status reinstated. I have no respect for elected officials who shirk their responsibilities.

You know the best thing about Arnold's candidacy here in California is the 11 Chicken Little D's are being ignored. My heart really breaks for Rodney Ellis' and his colleagues plight. I mean a majority of Texans want to send MORE Republicans to Congress and look who's talking about it being "illegitimate." The truth is when a political decision goes against liberals they suddenly find the democratic process and the rule of law inconvenient. Quite frankly I hope the media keeps ignoring the Gang In New Mexico. Given long enough they'll break and Texans will finally get the congressional representation they want and deserve.
