What I find odd is that people such as those you replied to don't seem to be all that concerned about gun laws, illegal immigration, 4th amendment violations as much as they are concerned about some piece of stone being removed from a courthouse and some grandstanding judge. I thought the same thing about the reaction to Lawrence v. Texas where it was said "America is dead". They cry, "you guys think the State is almighty", but turn around and say, well, if you don't like certain laws about guns, drugs or immigration, change them through the system. All the while they are screaming for a revolution over nonsense.
Some piece of stone? Do you mean that in the same sense as the U.S. Constitution being some piece of paper?
