The liberal media must be proud of you. You seem quite good at not letting facts interfere with the caricatures they throw your way.

A lot of hostility towards Christianity stems from ignorance - much of it promoted by the ACLU. This is very much a case in point.

my understanding is that he takes orders only from the one true KJV God.

Just because he takes his oath seriously.

A lot of hostility on FR towards the ACLU stems from the ACLU's stances they have taken over the years. This is yet another one in the long line of anti-historical, freedom-robbing, unAmerican, unnecessary court battles. The ACLU delays justice for others by clogging the court system with lawsuits such as these, and if you ask me, are the number one spam blight on the legal system today.

The laws the law?

If a law says you can't do this but God's law says you can do it - then is the law the law?

No, most of the hostility towards the ACLU is justified by their jihad to turn the Bill of Rights on its head and subvert the Constitution with the help of Marxist judges. This is indeed an excellent case in point for opposing the ACLU and doing everything in our power to destroy it as the America-hating terror group it has become.

Hey, the law's the law. Nobody's above the law.

religion is beyond the law.

"render unto caesar that which is caesar's" he said.

but instead, modern "christians" demand caesar stamp "in god we trust" on it instead. what an unholy combination.

when will they learn that his kingdom is not of this world?

What's Next will the ACLU now say we have to burn all the churches down as well?

Last time I checked, churches were not a branch of the US government. The judicial system is.

"since when does he rely on 'legal authority' for his actions?"

Priceless.

Who needs "The Onion" when one can read stuff like this on FR?

NO - the commandments have to be MOVED SOMEWHERE - so here's what he does - he moves them to another PUBLIC PLACE - then the idiots have to bring their law suit again - then he moves it to another public place - etc - from county to county throughout the BIble Believing country of that state - and so he wins - the commandments WILL BE EXHIBITED IN PUBLIC - just a series of places - that's all - one after the other - we just need to keep them on WHEELS

This was legally the correct decision. We cannot have our courts defying other courts.

There is a right way to fight these battles and that is by working with and through the system.

If a law says you can't do this but God's law says you can do it...

which god gave the law that says the state must be used to promote the one true faith?

the god of marx comes to mind.

Yeah guess I went a little overboard on that one.

Let me rephrase to say:

Is the ACLU now going to tell the Gov't it can no longer Pray before the start of Congress, and all references to religion on any Gov't building must be removed post haste?

Congratulations BamaG, sinkspur, and other Christian-haters..you and he Sodomities have won.

Not only that, this anti-Christian (and anti-Jewish) jihad being conducted unanimously by the courts is going to cause a lot of people to lose faith that their is any reason to vote republican. If both republicans and democrats are going to run around destroying religious symbols, you might as well vote for the one that promises to conduct class warfare for you.
