While there was clear bitterness on his part toward the successor who had rushed “to undo everything I’d done,” and the Republicans who “will run over you unless you beat their brains out.”

How they HATE us.

So Bill Clinton wants to "bash our brains out" and the elite drop to their knees. Sickening.

Wolff is a repulsive little bug. I remember he thought he was too important to be briefed by a mere Brigadier General during the Iraq war. (Of course, maybe he would have preferred to be, uh, "de"-briefed...know what I mean?)

You got it! If they ever got total power, we'd be the first people in the Gulag.

Don't you just feel the liberal love? Did they sing Kumbaya? Or just kiss each others bottoms?

The psychic heart of the conference was Bill Clinton.

Says all you need to know about this conference!

The hate these sycophant Marxists carry against anything decent is palatable. The two sides - freedom loving citizens vs the goosestepping totalitarian elite - exist together now under a tenuous truce. If the demonrats lose 8 or 9 senate seats in the next election watch out. I think the Marxist left would lose their minds, try to create a Reichstag incident and start shooting.

Clinton had lost weight and—with a great collection of just-out-of-the-wrapper pastel-colored polo shirts on view throughout the conference—seemed in fabulous form.

Could this article have been any gayer?

Yeah clinton really wowed the world with his responses to Somalia, Cole, and the first WTC attack.

"Clinton had lost weight"

Yeah, cocaine will do that.

To which Clinton, without hesitation, and with some kind of predatory gleam in his eye, said, “Good!” From there, Clinton went on, with emotion and anger, at a level seemingly foreign to most everyone here, to rip to shreds the motives, values, and legitimacy of the Republicans.

It was all anyone could talk about the next day. People seemed genuinely taken aback (some people kept offering that since it was late at night, in a bar, it didn’t quite count) that one of their own might have violated the accepted codes of lofty liberal behavior. There was a little current of fear at the sudden recognition that testosterone could fuel politics. It was a shock, apparently, that we might be this close to real feelings. That politics could actually be personal.

What liars the liberals are. To themselves and to us.

They went through eight years of the clinton administration and never once perceived this aspect of "their bill"? What fools to be "taken aback". I will say what my perception of the clintons is and I firmly believe this: If they could round us up they would do it.

Yes, they hate us.

The opening panel at the first evening’s dinner featured several estimables, including Madeleine Albright, a Singaporean diplomat, and a token (and not too bright) member of the Bush administration

I wonder who the "not too bright" Bush administration member was. Needless to say, I am skeptical of this characterization of "not too bright". And to think he used the phrase with Mad Maddy on the same panel!

Dolts.

Probably took a lot of elbow grease and disinfectant to undo what Clinton did in the Oval Office, but the stink was so overwhelming, it had to be done.

“committed the sin of journalism”), no “young journalists” stood up and walked out.

Wow, as if they should show such blatant disrespect for the President. Bad enough how they treat him as it is. This article gave me shivers. This bunch of socialist/Marxist Anti Americans all in one place slobbering over that pervert is more than I can stomach. The hate just spills out of the page.
