Roy Moore has ridden this issue to his position. He picked a fight with the ACLU while he was a circuit judge in Gadsden (an opponent that nobody likes). He rode this all the way to Montgomery. He is not very well liked, nor respected by the other judges, or the the republican lawyers who have appeared in front of him.

It is a common belief that he is just as calculating as Clinton, and just as cynical.

What do you people who have probably never spent a day in Alabama, know of our politicians? Don't fall into the trap of hero worship, just because he tweaks the nose of the ACLU.

We are not a theocracy. He is sworn to uphold the law. If he violates a court order, he should be impeached.
