I caught her rant a while ago. She blamed President Bush, and de-regulation for the outage, and said it was the same as California.

Wrongo-our power problems were caused by Gov. Gumby's electricity-price-fixing-vote-buying scheme. The de-regulation only occurred on one side.

That being said, its interesting how the black out serves as a benefit for the 'RAT party-Particularly for our Gov.-Davis ,who, X42 and Hillary are trying to "help" overcome the re-call election. It gives them an "excuse" for the California black outs last year, and "lets blame Republicans for them"- all wrapped up in in a nice package.

Say-Mrs.Clinton- You or your husband , weren't , by any chance, near the Niagra Power plant this afternoon, and messing with the switches, were you?

I know, it's time for me to break out the tin foil and make my hat.

One thing that struck me about the black out coverage, was seeing just how many millions of people are in NYC. The camera shots of all of them walking, and all the cars, were something else. It really was a MIRACLE that more people weren't killed Sept. 11. Of course, I don't mean that the 3,000 who were was a good thing-but-it could have been even worse. Hard to imagine that.

"Hillary Clinton (by phone with L.King). She basically said that this country needs to put a priority on upgrading the power distribution backbone and the Bush administration had un-done all of the good work that had gone on in the Clinton administration under Bill Richardson."

Hey, lying Hillary Clinton, wife of rapist and women beater, Bill Clinton, you can't have it both ways!!! You had better get Richardson in line!!!
Former Energy Secretary Bill Richardson said the nation’s power grid is antiquated.

“ We’re the world’s greatest superpower, but we have a Third World electricity grid,” said Richardson, governor of New Mexico.

Whatever happened, the power disruption, which caused havoc from New England to Michigan, is certain to revive the debate over the reliability of an aging electricity transmission system.

“ More lines clearly need to be built,” said Jim Owen, a spokesman for the Edison Electric Institute, which represents the investor-owned electric utilities.
