Granholm (Mich. gov.) said that the water is pressurized thru the pipes electrically, and consequently, no power = no water.

Granholm (Mich. gov.) said that the water is pressurized thru the pipes electrically, and consequently, no power = no water.Wow -- is that widespread?

She said it's PUMPED electrically, not pressurized. It's a small difference, but pumped is definitely more accurate than pressurized.

Granholm (Mich. gov.) said that the water is pressurized thru the pipes electrically, and consequently, no power = no water. Here's a question .. how have these people dealt with power outages in the past????
I realize this is a big one .. but it's not like this is the FIRST time this country has had the power go out.
2 years ago my area lost power for 12 hours .. we used the grill to cook on and only flushed the tolets when needed to and if we needed water .. we boiled it
