If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

"The Termite will have TC doing PT!!!" Yes indeed, Uncle Tom, I can look ahead and appreciate that.
As soon as The Texas Termite can count, I can see him belting out,
"OKAY, UNCLE TC - let's see if ya can still do 20 push-ups.
One - two - three - (faster!) - four- -
(Just don't let TC ever give him an M-1 rifle, okay??!!..:)

Hey Texas Termite
Have Uncle TC show you how he can do the 96 count manual of arms with his M-1
For extra fun watch him do it in the rain while you sit inside.

I beg your pardon, Ma'am, but as you've noted, the child is a Freeper. He KNOWS how to read, write, type AND count.
I, Humble Little I, taught him. Before he left the hospital.

It is great seeing such progress. His color is beautiful and he looks so bright eyed! He'll be running around getting into everything before you know it and when his mother is tired and a little cross, she'll remember what a miracle he is and it will bring a smile back to her face.

Tell Beth (from an old mom here) that apple and banana make things er.... ahhhh.... firm.
Prunes make things soft.
That's printed in the Mommy Bible. Honest! ;-)
YOU GO, LIL TERMITE! KEEP 'EM GUESSING!!

I remember the prune juice days! My daughter got a half ounce every day mixed with water. Always worked like a bomb...I mean charm.
I'm so happy about Logan's eye exam. The little toot is coming along fine.
Thanks for the new picture. I get so that if I don't see a picture within a few days, I get worried. This is just what I needed to start my weekend.

"when his mother is tired and a little cross, she'll remember what a miracle he is" I'm sure Beth will have those days eventually, but I have yet to see this mommy down.
She may be so tired she can't keep her eyes open, but there's still a smile playing around the corners of her mouth.
She always remembers how far Logan has come, and what it took to get him there.
To: Humidston
"that apple and banana make things er.... ahhhh.... firm." Ahaaa!! That's the reason they took the apple juice away from him!
Thanks, Humid!
To: stanz
"Always worked like a bomb...I mean charm." According to his mommy, you were right the first time!
To: stanz
"I get so that if I don't see a picture within a few days, I get worried." I start into withdrawals, and there's nothing worse than giving up Logan cold turkey!
