The most disgusting, disturbing news footage of the month was the strangely effeminate supporter of Robinson's, in a clerical collar, reading a statement at the conference saying homosexuality was a blessing and a gift from God. We are doomed.

Watch out all you heterosexual guys out there who are just dying to have gay sex,The Bishop of Maryland doesn't approve.
Unbelievable!!! This is the type of convoluted reasoning I haven't heard since my kids were teens and I asked them why they were so late getting home.

Paul isn't objecting to homosexual men having sex with each other, just heterosexual men having sex with each other.Hmmmm. The way I read scripture, God created male and female, not hetero-, homo-, bi-, etc.
Technically, I don't think there is any such thing as a "homosexual" -- we are men or women who act in ways that please or displease God. And I think God has made it adequately clear what is pleasing and what is displeasing to him regarding sex.

...In the time that we have, I can't go into all the theology around it, but what I can tell you is that in my relationship with my partner,...
The reason this pansy can't go into the "Theology" around it is because he knows quite well that he has to bend, twist, and fabricate the interpretation of sripture. There just is no supporting premise whatsoever for homosexuality. In FACT it is just the opposite:
An abomination to the Lord.

"I just need to tell you that I experience that with my partner."I just didn't need him to tell me that, especially right after supper. Bleah!

I came prepared to be in angry disagreement with this article from the title. I thought it would be just more bashing of the faithless and faithful alike.
I was incorrect. It is exactly correct, especially with respect to the Church's market niche and channel of distribution (no pun intended, seriously).

The peculiar obsession of the dying Anglican churches of Britain, America and Canada with homosexuality Perhaps it's "our" fault for choice of terminology, but none (insofar as I know) of the churches in the U.S. who bear the name "Anglican" have an "obsession with" homosexuality -- other than being against the practice thereof.

<< ..... Robinson got the Church to endorse not just his [Sodomy] but his narcissism. >>
Mark Steyn uses words the way the Holy Bible does.
Reverently -- and as though they mean something.
Thanks for the Ping, Pokes.
