What is the "youth day of extreme sports" at the Harvest Crusade?

I assume they have a big half pipe out in the outfield and a number of skateboarders, in-line skaters, and bikers who can perform death defying aerial feats. I have never seen it but that's my guess. I do know that the music is outstanding and rivals any other live acts out there in the secular world.

Here's a link to the trailer itself:

Note since this is the movie of the crucification, it is pretty graphic and bloody.

I was there and that's exactly what it was. It was unreal and a lot of fun.

The clip from the passion made a big impact, now I'm definitely going to see it. The movie looks to to made extremely well with great photography and realism...

If you have never been to the "Harvest Crusade" you need to go...It changed my life!

Saw a few seconds of it on MSNBC last night.

Uh..oh...this is powerful stuff.

I'm a secular kinda guy and while I like religious people around me for what they bring to civic society, I'm not into religion a lot. But this....I dunno...I could relate to it.

I think this film will be a blockbuster worldwide. People who normally don't go to see movies will go and see this one (same thing happened with Titanic). There are approx. 2 billion Christians worldwide, add in the agnostics and the curious, and if it's as a good a film to watch as early reviewers say it is, then you can add in those brought in by word of mouth, then it'll be a worldwide hit and I predict that it'll give Titanic a run for it's money.

It will not become dated either.

Those trying to stop this film know how powerful it will be.

Yeah....I thought that same thing as soon as I saw the clip on MSNBC. It was only a few seconds too.

Been meaning to make a decision for a while. I'm close. But....if one accepts this....nothing is the same.

Indeed. Nothing is the same, either in this life or the one to come! I hope you decide correctly and soon.

You are right. Nothing will be the same. It will be better than you could ever imagine. There is no thing in this world equal to a personal relationship with the Savior.

"From what I've gathered, the real 'uproar' is coming from Jews ..."

To be precise, the uproar is coming from secular Jews who happen to also be liberal and leftist and generally opposed to all things Christian.

I've already seen a review by orthodox Jews in the media (including Michael Medved) and they generally think the movie is fine, what they've heard or seen so far.

This is a political issue that leftists are painting out to be a religious one.

It's a powerful story!

One that will provoke you to make the important decision of your life!...and the life after that too.
