Notice that we lost all the toss up states except for Florida. And the FRAUD to win was keyed in but something went wrong. I believe more people voted R than they had expected. Therefore the uproar and accusation that WE the R's created the fraud. It's the old tranference trick.... accusing the other of what you're doing. Good point you made here. Several studies showed that the networks' FRAUDULENT declaration that "Gore won Florida, there's almost no way Bush can win now" before the polls were even closed there, caused anywhere from one to three MILLION GOP voters in the Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones to assume it was hopeless and to either leave their place in line at their polling places or to not show up in the first place. There is no question - NONE - that on Election Day 2000, more people intended to vote for Bush than for Gore. It wasn't going to be a 20-point blowout, but Bush would absolutely have won a clear popular majority and electoral vote majority if only the "mainstream" news media hadn't screwed up and spread outright lies to the public.

I believe that, too. Without voter fraud entrenched in the big urban areas and the "precall" of Floriduh, Bush would have won the popular vote.
