After eight weeks of testing, it was only one cow after all. And that particular cow said, "Americans-I hate those bastards!".

Unfreakinbelievable!Americans not all, but many of us are mad at Canadians because of their un-Americanism and the disrespect shown to our president by cCanadians in general and Canadian politicians in the governing party in particular.
Previously we had not been aware of Canada's nad behavior, but we're paying attention now and we're not inclined to keep tolerating being knifed in the back.
As far as I'm concerned our common border can remained closed to Canadian beef until Canadians learn some manners or which is probably more likely the Stanley Cup playoff games are played in Hell.

I hope to be driving up to Calgary via the Coutts (Alberta) / Sweet Grass (Montana) border crossing in mid-September. Have they finished building that new U.S/Canada customs facility up there?

Why because your leaders are pieces of crap who get their jollies out of causing trouble for the US as in...
- Refusing to help the US prevent Islam terrorists from entering this country.
- Refusing to support the US in our war against Iraq
- Publically making insulting comments about our President and other leaders.
- Accepting all of our draft dodgers in the 60-70's who are now driving your country to gay marriage and drug legallization which is going to cause trouble for us.
- Refusing to admit you had a problem with SARS in Toronto, thereby causing some Americans to get sick as a result and potentially threatening our public health.
You ought to feel lucky. Travel by Americans to France is down 80% this year and sales of French products are down by 30%. If Cretien, his cronies, and the rest of Canada want to give us the finger for kicks, so be it. But dont be surprised when there are consequences.
When we see tens of thousands attending public rallys in support of Bush and the US we might be persuaded that Western Canadians arent made of the same socilistic and anti-American stock. While you continue to sit on your asses every time your government flips us the bird, you are giving Cretien your tacit approval.

I ain't mad at Canadians. I am mad at Canadiens. You know, those French speaking anachronisms who can't face the fact that the British and Americans kicked their butts after a long and sordid series of wars over 200 years ago in which THEIR ancestors used Indians and and a brutal brush war against OUR civlians in an attempt to steal a continent and then lost.
I wish George II had taken them all and thrown then back into France where they belong and allowed only British Protestants to settle in Canada. The U.S.A. would have been a lot better off with fewer Frenchmen north of our borders and so would have been the Anglo-Canadians.

I bet you can count on Bush to give the Canadian mad cow problem the same deliberate consideration that Canada and France wanted for Iraq at the UN. Maybe another year or two of talking and talking. Take that 40% of your beef shipments and send them to Japan instead. Oh, thats right. Japan shut the door on you too.
Right and BTW, it really pays to boo during the singing of our national anthem at sporting events. Especially when our sons and daughters are dying. That really endears Canadians to us as well.

Then the official from your beef industry writes a press release in which he refers to President Bush as "the Shrub". You Canadian just don't get it. You should be the ones writing the letters to your gov't officials. They are all idiots for thinking that the US will allow such insults and turn the other cheek. We don't need Canada and if your gov't is waiting for the return of the Left in the US, you might be waiting a long time.

We Americans aren't mad at all Canadians, just the loud-mouthed, ungrateful, hate-filled ones. It just seems like all Canadians are like that.

There are some things about the U.S. that I will never understand. If you folks up in Canada really want the U.S. to open the border to Canadian beef again, then all you've got to do is stand up and say you are now a province of Red China.
To: conniew
Freakin Canadians want free trade on beef? Let them pay US market price for pharmaceuticals and well think about it.

I not mad at all Canadians, just those who put Cretien in power. Then again many Americans sent the Clintons to the White House not once but twice. Look at the mess both these creatures have caused.

I was almost tempted to post pictures from Canadian Bacon on this thread...until I remembered it was directed by Michael Moore...momentary lapse in judgement there!!

I'm not really angry at Canadians. They were weinies about the whole Iraq thing, but so was everybody else. This business about Americans being upset about pot and Gay marrige is manufactored by the usual suspects.
