All the minority candidates should be brought up during the 24/7 filibuster. Let's get some footage of Democrats criticizing the black guy, the black woman, the Asian, the Hispanic, etc. for use during the campaign. The truth is not negative campaigning.

The Republicans are in control of the Senate. It's long past time for them to act like it. The tyranny of the political minority party is unacceptable.

I wrote this last year; but I think the time to go 24/7 is in September or October, and do exactly what you say. Let it build slowly through the summer first. Let Kerry and Hillary make some tough votes, than go nuclear.

I don't understand why so many Freepers can't understand the simple fact that the Dems are the ones filabustering, not the Republicans! Good grief. This 24/7 thing is from the past. The cloture vote is the only thing that they need to filabuster. No one can force any Democrat to hold the floor and filabuster in that manner.

Another problem is that they are confirming district judges, not appeals judges. Therefore, the crisis is getting even worse as activity at the district level is on the increase but there are still fewer appellate judges.

I fully understand the fact that Frist's hands are tied, it is all the Dems fault. Plus there are some squeemish rino senators too. The goal for conservatives should be to force high profile votes on nominees, and make Kerry defend the obstruction. Than use that in the election.

You are right, the Dems say they are confirming so many, but that is mainly to the district courts, not the appeals.
