So, the Manhattan Indians didn't own Manhattan;
didn't stop them from selling it to the Dutch.

The brits took far better care of them than the locals would have. Elgin stole them fair and square and the brits should keep 'em.

-The TURKS were storing ammo in the Parthenon and during a Venetian assault it blew up.
-The Turks did not own the marbles to sell to Elgin
-They are the PARTHENON MARBLES, not the Elgin marbles
-The marbles have bee damaged in British "care"
