Well, snotty nose liberal Ben Afflick and his gal pal J-Lo have just created a catastrophic bomb. It just barely beat Finding Nemo on it's 64th day, and after it already raked in $317 million in business. The second week-end of Seabisquit beat it.
Life is good.

Hey, I know...Let's make a big budget movie and use a FRENCH name for it. That'll sell to middle America, right?!

The really idiotic thing was, the name was SUPPOSED to be Italian.

Oddly, the #4 film is Seabisquit so French names DO work.

I heard a focus group that saw the film suggested a re-write of the ending in which both Affleck and Lopez die, instead of just one of them..

Yeah, but "lilies" in Italian translates to French in English!

I give the Affleck/Lopez union another 36 days. When did they say the wedding was planned, October? IT WIL NEVER HAPPEN. We should start taking a pool as to when the breakup will be.

I still like Affleck because I enjoy his acting (and everyone else's) in the viewaskew movies. I like him and Matt Damon both in fact. The jury is still out on J.Lo though. Kevin Smith had good things to say about her after the filming of Jersey Girl. He's usually a straight talker.

That would require energy that I refuse to use upon any celebrity, especially one as snotty and idiotic and the above mentioned team.

Thanks for telling me how the movie ends. I WAS going to watch it when it got to PPV.. guess not anymore. Hubby works for the cable company so we get PPV at half price.

Hildy, you got that right. This bomb will lead to them arguing about whos's "star power" couldn't draw in the crowds!

This one is looking like the turkey of the year. Based on the first 155 votes, it's currently rated 2.1 (out of 10) at imdb.com.
To: honeygrl
You may get PPV for half price, but what about the 2 hours of your life you'll waste?
To: dogbyte12
Pardon me for not giving a sh*t about any of these movies.

Thanks for bumping the thread up. If you don't care. Don't respond to a thread. It keeps a thread on the second page. Get a grip.
